Dental veneers in Cluj, Romania

A natural smile makeover begins with preserving healthy tooth structure

5.0 from 91 Google reviews

Veneers should be selected according to enamel, bite, tooth position and the change you want—not simply by choosing the whitest material. ProDent uses digital records and a diagnostic mock-up to plan conservative E.max, no-prep, zirconia or injected composite options.

Choosing responsibly

Not every smile needs veneers

E.max ceramic

Selected for high-level aesthetics and natural light transmission. Preparation is kept as conservative as the clinical situation allows.

No-prep ceramic

Suitable only when adding a thin layer will not create bulky teeth or compromise the bite. “No-prep” cannot be promised before evaluation.

Zirconia

Strength and opacity can be useful in specific cases, but material choice must reflect colour, thickness, bonding and the desired result.

Injected composite

A more affordable, minimally invasive option in selected cases. Composite can stain and wear differently from ceramics and may need maintenance.

Orthodontics first

If teeth are significantly misaligned, orthodontic movement may preserve more enamel and create a better foundation than aggressive preparation.

Whitening first

When the concern is mainly colour, professional whitening may solve it without irreversible treatment. Existing restorations do not whiten.

From design to cementation

The veneer treatment process

01

Diagnosis

Teeth, gums, bite, photographs and digital scans are evaluated. Decay, gum inflammation or functional problems are treated first.

02

Smile design and mock-up

A mock-up lets you preview proposed shapes in the mouth before committing to the definitive veneers.

03

Conservative preparation

When preparation is necessary, the goal is to preserve as much enamel as clinically possible. Some selected cases need none.

04

Laboratory and trials

Shape, shade, texture, phonetics and bite are checked. Changes should be discussed before final bonding.

05

Adhesive cementation

The veneers are bonded under controlled conditions and the bite is verified carefully.

06

Long-term care

Daily hygiene, professional cleaning and protection from grinding or damaging habits help maintain the result.

Honest limitations

What veneers can—and cannot—change

Veneers can modify visible colour, shape, proportion, small gaps and selected alignment discrepancies. They cannot treat active gum disease, replace missing teeth, correct every bite problem or guarantee a particular celebrity smile. Ceramic treatment is generally irreversible if enamel is removed. Chipping, debonding, sensitivity, gum changes and future replacement are possible, so the decision should be based on long-term dental health as well as appearance.

Veneer FAQ

Questions international patients ask

Can veneers be completed in one trip?

Often they can be planned within one appropriately timed stay, but the required appointments depend on oral health, mock-up, preparation, laboratory stages and clinical trials.

Do veneers require shaving the teeth?

Some require minimal preparation; selected cases may be no-prep. The correct approach depends on tooth position, enamel, desired colour and final contour.

How many veneers do I need?

The number depends on the teeth visible when smiling, symmetry and the transition to untreated teeth. More veneers are not automatically better.

Will my teeth need root canal treatment?

Conservative veneer treatment is planned to avoid unnecessary damage. Root canal treatment is not a routine part of veneers, although pre-existing disease or rare complications require separate management.

How long do veneers last?

Longevity varies with material, bonding, bite, grinding, hygiene and maintenance. No responsible clinic can promise that veneers will last for life.

Plan before you travel

Start with dental imaging, not a flight booking

Send a recent panoramic X-ray or CBCT and a short description of your concerns. A panoramic X-ray can support an initial overview, but it does not allow the three-dimensional measurements required for implant or surgical planning. A CBCT is therefore required for implant and surgical treatment. The final diagnosis and treatment plan are confirmed after the clinical examination in Cluj.
